Maremma’s Sangiovese Rosato honoured on international stage
The news arrived like a ray of spring sunshine between our rows: the Sangiovese Rosato 2023 from our Le Vigne estate won the prestigious gold medal at the Concours Mondial de Bruxelles 2025, in the Session dedicated to rosé wines.
This year’s competition, organised by the prestigious Concours Mondial de Bruxelles but hosted in the splendid setting of Constanța in Romania from 28 to 30 March, saw more than 1,250 wines from 34 different countries compete. Just think: 58 international experts who, glass after glass, blindly assessed every nuance, every note, every emotion enclosed in those glasses.
Our Sangiovese Rosato was not only awarded, but was also part of that elite group of only 82 Italian wines recognised as excellent. And there’s more: it is one of only 8 Tuscan ambassadors on the podium. A small pink miracle from our Maremma, which shone in the Constanța spotlight.
